Box for the company’s licensed Spider-Man costumes.

Spider-Man was the first Marvel Comics license for Ben Cooper, and although they had been making versions of the costume since the early 60s, this is the first box dedicated to the character.

Design Notes:

Illustrations of Spider-Man appeared on three prior boxes starting with the Comic/Cartoon Heroes box (link).

The illustration is based on a Steve Ditko drawing that appeared in Marvel Tales Issue #7 (link), it was also used for the Tiny Tot Super Hero box (link).
