YEARS: 1964-1968
Large format box promoting the company’s comic book, film, and television licenses.
This was the first box to feature illustrations of comic book characters, and it was one of the first to have the round Ben Cooper logo.

Also, one of the first boxes to list safety features on the side panel.

Design Notes:
The illustration of Superman is likely based on a 1939 comic strip drawing by Dennis Neville which was reprinted in Superman #3 and later modified for use as promotional art.
Typefaces: Filmotype Quaker (“funtastic!”).
