YEARS: 1956-1963
One of the first boxes dedicated to the Disney license. The similar Disney Black box (link) was in use around the same time but might pre-date this by a year or two.
Design Notes:
The illustrations of Donald Duck, Jiminy Cricket, Pluto, and Mickey Mouse are variations of the ones on the Spotlite Character Costume box (link).
The Walt Disney logo appears to be different than the official one used by Disney during this period, it’s also different than the one used on the previous “Spotlite” boxes (link).
“Masquerade costumes” is fashioned the same way as the “Spotlite” boxes.
